More Learning, Less Time: The Missing Key
Why is the most impactful part of training usually the first thing to be cut? The key to massively improving learning transfer from classroom (or screen) to on-the-job performance is realistic, context-specific “rehearsal.” And yes, you really can bring the best of the real world to your classroom or screen. I want participants to experience a radical inversion of how most people design training. Instead of starting with what learners need to know, they will start with what they need to do – in context! – to drive specific business results. Creating realistic ways to practice this becomes the top priority.
Participants who attend the session will be able to:
1. Explicitly identify target behaviors a given training should produce & how they affect IRACIS (Increase Revenue, Avoid Costs, Improve Service).
2. Create “rehearsal opportunities” that mimic the most essential elements of the real-world context for the behaviors.
